My Journey from 0 to 100 Followers on Medium in a Month
I wrote my first article about two weeks ago and my second one a few days ago. Here is my third article, and I decided I wanted to jump into this trend of getting to 100 followers quickly & efficiently. I am all for creating good energy among other writers and feeling a part of a movement to reach the monetisation program — why not?
Critics are saying it creates a fanbase that doesn’t amount to much. That may be true, but in reality, once you reach the hundred and are in the program, you can entirely focus on your message and build a genuinely organic fanbase. It’s only 100 followers, not 1000 or 10,000, so it doesn’t matter that much.
Obviously, suppose you continue these methods of gaining followers inorganically. In that case, that’s a different story — I think that’s the wrong approach. But each to their own.
