Next, it’s time to start networking! Attend as many events as possible, meet new people, and build relationships with them. This will help you get your name out there so that when the time comes for an open position, they will remember your name.
Getting into the film industry can be challenging, but it is possible. A vital part is to figure out what you want to do in the film industry. Do you want to work in marketing? Production? Post-production? Distribution? Maybe you are getting your degree from a film school with good connections with the film industry. It would help if you also took classes in business and marketing so that you will be able to find a job with an established company when you graduate.
Finally, if all else fails and you cannot find a job in your chosen field, try working as an intern at an established company for free for at least three months. This will give you time to learn about what it’s like on the other side of the desk and give you valuable experience to show a potential employer.
